You're prolly right on this point, and I've misinterpreted Brenschluss
(fuel cut-out) as occurring at the apogee (no rocket scientist this
little indian that's for sure: too many Tom Swift novels no doubt!) and
thank you for pointing this out.

Actually, I was more worried about my maths, but as I count them now
there are 37 lines of text on page 760 (36 if you exclude the song
title). Slothrop's war-cry (380.18, mid-line) is dead centre, the
apogee, and the rest of what I wrote isn't compromised at all by my
Faulty Fizzics.
