Well, Geli Raubal may well have crossed Pynchon's mind but I'll tell
you who crossed MY mind when I first encountered Geli Tripping. Why it was
Uri Geller, a psychic and paranormalist who in 1973 had been experiencing 
tremendous popularity on the Johnny Carson Show. Now, THAT was an echo!

By the way, how come Henry doesn't sign off with his As B4 anymore???
