Awesome quote! Certainly the occult component points to that whole era,
and IMHO the "genuine" "spiritual" component of that world, I think, has
the same outline as the path(s) in GR. Also, IMHO the genre starts with
The Golden Ass and Satyricon, and the goddess cults... though that is
basically saying the same thing, backwards (ie., that in some sense, these
two expositions are attempts to convey roughly the same information in
different formats).
Must look into this text- sounds quite interesting. Quite possibly, from
what I've read of other Golden Dawn doings, entertaining as well.
