Mamet on Patrick O'Brian

I think I remember hearing a snippet of O'Brian being interviewed by Len
Lopate on NPR- WNYC radio not long ago. It reminded me that I had given my
ailing father the first four books of the series to aid in his
convalescence.

O'Brian sounded even more frail than my father.

My father dutifully polished off the four, but left me with the distinct
impression that the naval/sailing jargon was a pain in the ass.
