 no. actually it is "lüneburg". & burg means castle/citadel/stronghold. the lüne 
 is a part of lüneburg (- a town in lower saxony with about 60 000 people), 
 which is characterized by a nunnery founded in 1172. so lüneburg means the  
 stronghold around this nunnery, i guess (- got this stuff, again, from my old  
 general lexikon). was there once in my childhood. in a second-hand bookshop my 
 parents bought me an old adventure book (- "das große buch der abenteuer") from 
 the beginning of the century. still have it today.
