This reminds me, there was something back in the 80s called the "grudge
look" somewhat popular among teenager girls or thereabouts. Don't know
if it's at all related to "glamour grudge." The basic idea I think was to
look like you were trying to make yourself unattractive but of course
not quite succeeding. Rolled up jeans, bad hair. Patterned after how
film stars dress if they want to go out into public and not be
recognized by fans. (or was the grudge look something else entirely?)
