Happy New Year. Sorry I missed you in NYC awhile back, I mixed up the days,
as CK can attest. The NYPL did get together before the holidays and hoist a
few, I thought of you- still wondering about the details of the "real"
Murthy. Such non-virtual meetings are fun supplements to this other thing
we do.

Anyway, of concern today- I posted on 12/31/99 a long (probably too long)
response to Seb's post, re: Turing, AI and ESP. I'm sure it's sitting in
your "check this for OKness" box, because of the length criterion. Should I
re-post in two parts? My concern is more than it might be because of the
WASTE problems you mentioned.

The efforts you make here are valuable to me. I wish you would post more,
but thanks again for all you and Oxy (whoever that might be) do.
