Tonight the HISTORY CHANNEL is repeating a documentary on 
snipers...regardless of how anyone feels about guns, war, killing, 
etc., this is one of the most extraordinary investigations into both 
the human and particularly martial psyche...you will never forget 
the tale of the one-on-one battle twixt the Soviet's best and the 
almost 60 year old head instructor of the German Sniper academy 
among the ruins of one of them 'grads. Those who may have seen 
the Berenguer/(that guy who played the Phantom) movie will 
recognize the liberal 'lifts", and may be astonished to find them 
based on literal truth. 

Its back to back with another show on Native American "code 
talkers" getting the best of the huns, which sounds rather, and I 
HATE this term, "pynchonian".
