Mamet on Patrick O'Brian [NP]

As far as Mamet passing judgement on other writers, I have to (at least) 
smile.  Sometimes I feel like the kid seeing the naked emperor when it comes 
to Mamet.  But I suppose an entertainer like Mamet does have a certain 
expertise when it comes to commenting on the works of the likes of 
Bulwer-Lytton & Doyle.  I do agree he's out of his element when it comes to 
Mark Twain.
