Tchitcherine is nagged by Slothrop's Sodium Amytal
sessions:
----------
(391.4) Balckwoman, Blackrocket, Blackdream... The new
coinages seem to be made unconsciously. Is there a
single root, deeper than anyone has probed, from which
Slothrop's Blackwords only appear to flower
seperately? Or has he by way of the language caught
the German mania for name-giving, dividing the
Creation finer and finer, analyzing, setting namer
more hopelessly apart from named [...]
----------

Tchitcherine has proposed a basic question: Is
Slothrop's "mania" the manifestation of a deep
psychological root, or is it only a word-game of
artificial classifications: Archetype or Analysis? I
would suggest, and I think Tchitcherine also later
lands on, Archetype: "Schwarzphenomen"

This question goes back to our first Sodium Pentothal
session with Slothrop where we meet Croutchfield and
Whappo: the "Only One of Everything" cosmology. On
examination it turned out that this "only one" rule
was an illusion, or con, maintained only by creating
"finer and finer" categories by way of endless
qualifiers. But these finer and endless divisions
ultimately make one harken back to their opposite, the
root.
