Writers are different from The Atomic Scientists in that they only work in
their imaginations with no chance ever of setting off a chain reaction
resulting in irreparable damage to the fabric of human reality even if
they'd like to and abolish logocentricism or something. So in other words
they have to be satisfied with a better "understanding" of the situation
which admittedly isn't much. Still there are those who love it.
