Yes, this is good to know and keep in mind if one really doesn't want
cookies. However it seems like some sites I've attempted to visit and who
asked permission to leave a cookie, when I said no, refused me
admittance. They shouldn't really care THAT much.

I periodically remove cookies and other history files not because I care
what amazon, say, knows, but don't want other family members or friends
finding out some of the the places I've dialed into. The computer just
sits here running day in day out.
