this comes, though i could forget about the orwell, close to my experience.
the thing itself was just too boring. some of the popular culture that arose
around it, however, i found amusing.

"manu, du schlampe, hau ab!" ... some 12 year old girls were shouting,
pleading for the outvote of a candidate named manuela (- "manu, you bitch,
beat it!")

but zlatko profane gets at least his personal pay off from this emptied
'pomo' freakshow ... and there was one funny dialogue he took part in, where
about i read in the "spiegel". it went somehow like this --- a woman: "here
inside we are a pretty homogeneous group." & then zlatko: "i am not queer."

since we, unfortunately, have the summer break here: will doug ross return
from seattle & take care of pregnant carol? will peter benton be able to stay
in contact with his son? what about lucy's ritalin habit? & will she and
carter ever become a real couple?
