I don't have a lesson plan for you but just wanted to mention the first Pynchon book I read was COL49
in a "Modern American Fiction" class at Clarkson University, I guess in the spring of 1988. It was a
good book to read in such a class -- actually the whole class was a lot of fun, we read Universal
Baseball Assn, Tar Baby, Self Help, Ironweed...
