Teenaged Tyrone/The Kid would seem to be judging his mother rather 
harshly in this imagined letter, depicting her as an alcoholic of the 
maudlin and wanton (her sex fantasies would seem to be focused on 
Jack not "fellow Harvard parent" Joe) type.
