Vague pynchcon - Charles Hayward (one of the main guys from This Heat) made
an album with Heiner Goebbels (who recorded "A Face We All Know", an album
using texts from GR) in 1993.  It's called "Shadow/Landscape with Argonauts"
and uses Edgar Allen Poe texts.
