I don't know a better answer to this question than I did this morning
which then as now is that probably the book is unknown outside of a small
segment of the population or even where it is known there is not
sufficient interest. Literary craftsmanship be damned. I assume the "inner
junta" would be happy to see all this change. Would welcome the
company. Did your post intend to imply anyone was actively trying to limit
readership to some select few? I got a slight impression of that from what
you said--that you might have experienced something along this 
line. Was sure though. Another thing, the "inner junta" could easily be
taken to imply a fairly homogenous group of readers, which the p-list
alone demonstrates is not the case. Doesn't it?
