Back to the original topic of this thread. There was a Washington
Post review today of Eminem's appearance in Washington (along with Snoop
Dog and Dr dre. The review didn't mention Pynchon but kept using words
like disgusting and degrading. Still she seemed really to dig it
all--quite hung up on the bleached look. Must  have been an English
major--spoke of assuming a persona--as in maybe he's just assuming a
persona. From now on anything I say here can be assumed not to be me
but my persona.
