I know for myself that, after this GRGR, a breather is in order (I've just 
bought _The Confidence Man_ for my first go 'round.).

I'd suggest a Slow Learner's Slow Learner (SLSL), taken slowly.  Or we could 
all take a group read of the _Gnostic Pynchon_....
