JS tangent and an apology

Tangentially related to this JS discussion, there used to be, posted
somewhere on the internet, a rant by our own departed A. Dinn that was used
to illustrate the art of righteously and totally insulting someone.  Jules
post reminded me of it, and I wish I still had a copy.  I believe it was
originally posted on the R.A.B.ble page.

Apropos the JS email, the grandmother in question was a quote from Hunter S.
Thompson that JS did not GET, as they say.

And finally, my apologies if anyone on the list got one of those stupid
auto-reply messages from me over the last few days, letting you know my work
schedule (I'm sure you were NOT interested.)  I never can seem to make those
Microsoft Wizards do what I want, ah, if only I had Harry's pluck.
