I'm of two minds. On the one hand, there is much criticism of TV and the 
thanatoids' lifestyle, but it's not TV per se, or the Technology, but what 
we folks do with such technology. Sure, sit at home, smoke a little dope, 
watch the Robert Musil story starring Michael J Fox or some such, watch the 
fascist twilight enclose what's left of that good America, but it's really 
systems that Vond, the Thanatoids, represent that is the target for Mr. P's 
barbs.

V parts were once rocket parts, becomes your next TV, eh?
