house for 3 months, monitored day and night by videocam, voting once 
a week to eliminate some of their number until the sole survivor 
collects a cash bonanza, all to enrich the interests of the show's 
corporate sponsors. Eager volunteers and a watching nation, make 1984 
a reality but flipped around:  government doesn't have to coerce the 
people into accepting non-stop observation, the people, well trained 
through a lifetime of media consumption, embrace their omniscient 
monitors.
