GRGR(31): The Radiant Hour

Anyone have a clue, what the Radiant Hour might be? I was thinking maybe
it's the time when the rocket is launched or perhaps when it explodes;
but it also sounds a bit like a Rilke reference. ('Speshly because he
uses a feminine pronoun to refer to RH, which would jibe with "die Uhr"
or "die Stunde").

The thought struck me midway through this chapter that it reads a bit
like GR in microcosm; at the beginning it's a ripping good yarn with
lots of cartoony action and storyline, but midway through the yarn
begins to unravel. Disclaimer: I don't really know how well this works,
and have at the moment not yet finished the chapter.
