Howdy foax,
I apologise for the interruption, and I hope the following announcement
doesn't cause too many ripples in the topic-continuum:
With the help of some friends here in Chicago, I am working to launch a
small literary journal called Bridge, targeted to appear in
October-November 2000. We intend to publish critical essays on literature,
philosophy, religion and aesthetics as well as a minor amount of poetry and
fiction. The first issue as it stands now, for instance, includes an
interview with novelist Kurt Vonnegut and an essay on Dostoevsky. We here
at the staff of Bridge, among other things, are appreciators of the
literature of Gaddis, DeLillo and Pynchon. Thus I am posting generally to
invite members who would be so kind as to take an interest in our project
to consider donating work for our first issue, in these and other areas. If
you would like a copy of our editorial guidelines, please email me
*off-list* and I will forward them to you as an email attachment in Word
2000 format.
Thanks!
Cheers,
Michael Workman, Editor-in chief
