Just as a curiosity I might mention that Borges was quite unimpressed with
"King Kong" as movie making. However Fay Wray did catch his attention. The
final sentence of his 1933 review of the film is "But what finally
demolishes both the gorilla and the film is his romatic love--or lust--for
Fay Wray.
Oh how much waited to be learned in 1933.
