Send-up or not it speaks volumes.  How seriously one takes the jokes...

The Toiletship is a manifestation of the "special" Nazi fanaticism, that of the
"Specialist."  This being but another form of the "German mania for
subdividing."

The subdividing of all categories into finer and finer specifics is an attempt
to "harness" the "Creation."  "Harness" means engineering, making useful.  This
subdividing is also a method of "ordering" the world ("Order" here might
conjure up a Dominatrix Librarian).  The "ordering" of course being just that,
a military command to line-up and salute.  The ideals of the one categorizing
shape "reality."

The T-ship is hilarious because of the "ordering" implied.  It is ludicrous to
conceive of "specializing" toilets to special ships.  Human nature at its most
basic precludes the concept.  Doesn't the Toiletship imply the removal, or at
least reduction, of toilets on all the other ships?  Otherwise we'd merely have
excess.  It seems the T-ship is meant for a "special" kind of leave:  the
Shit-Vacation.  This would imply also some very prolonged "holding-it" between
leaves (talk about anal-retentive society!).

This would be society which had decided to direct ALL functions into there
"most useful" arrangement:  When it's time to shit one should make the most of
it, a real "Shit Holiday!"  But Vacations have their function (no "permanent
vacations" here).  Sooner or later one must get back to WORK!

NO SHIT!
(But NOT (that means Lots-O-Shit before) 'till after Mardi Gras!)
