Pynch bein' such an encyclopedist, many years after my first read of him
(GR) I keep finding the things (whadya callem?) that he refers to, e.g., I
was watching Stalag 17 today: chess piece used as hiding place for messages.
I'm sure this must be referred to in all the crit and on the list, but I
don't keep up. Even if I did, it still would have been great to see.
