The ending was a major letdown IMHO, and a far cry from either "Snowcrash"
or his Victorianesque one, the name of which I can never remember.  Neither
a great work, but both darned entertaining and Snowcrash very delightful in
a brash almost innocent way.  Sort of like the best parts of Cryptonomicon,
without the slop.  And the ending was a thousand times better, real
page-turning stuff.

Snowcrash I regard as a thumping good read.  Worth taking on a plane, for
sure.
