Just to say that the Szallasi or "arrow-crossers" era at the time during the
actual occupation of Hungary by the Werhmacht etc.has taken a trend that had
been established by a previous regime a "giant step" further: it was and
wasn't the same and in that sense "it had happened before" and yet
was/remained incomparable. And of course it was a scream that not only came
across the sky but has torn it apart. And anyway, I love the power of that
sentence. Mijn verontschuldigingen voor het geval dat je vindt dat ik die
zin te lichtzinnig aanhaalde.
