  well, husserl coined the term "technization" by which he meant a historical 
  development inside of mathematics and the natural sciences: understood 
  contexts and correlations are put into rules (formula, methods, theories),   
  that can be applied without without recurring to the original meaning. somehow 
  relevant to gr, no?
