I'm back

read each and every  P-list entry that's come since he's been away.  So
guys, be sharp."

And, I'm back, I've read through all the posts piled up in the
emailbox...but I buried that hatchet in the Garden Isle.

It's not particularly Pynchonian, except perhaps in the depths of insight
it reveals and the devilish twists the author puts his readers through, but
on my break I enjoyed reading Jim Crace's 1998 (I think) novel, Quarantine.
