like a bone for a dog

           the small planet cleopatra

           is formed, m o v i n g

together with thousands of other small planets

           in the asteroid girdle

           around the sun.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
the words, but not their arrangement, are taken from the first sentence of an
article in today's faz (p. 14). it goes on: "a group of scientists under the
direction of steven ostro from the jet propulsion laboratory in pasadena
(california) has turned the 305-meter-telescope in arecibo (puerto rico) some
time ago to cleopatra and sent radar rays to this small planet. out of the
echoes they composed a computer model ...." & it really looks like a bone.

 happy p-day to everybody! kai
