this struck me kinda funny--from today's times:

Winds blew a week-old fire toward the Los Alamos National
Laboratory, forcing the evacuation of the town of Los Alamos, but
officials said nuclear materials at the lab were safe.

never mind the people, that nuclear stuff is safe
