Yep, I went there, found nothing that made me think I´d been taken (if I´m
right in the meaning of "I´d been taken").
Systech and M,D&P sites seem serious sites, there´s nothing so obviously
funny there to make the visitor it´s a joke (of course, the guys are
humorous in their bios but that doesn´t mean anything).
Maybe is so subtle that only they and three friends "get it".

If it is a joke, it is a very inside joke.

(by the way, the fact that both the words "commercial" and "residential" are
links in MDP site made my mind fly to one of my fanfixations: The Residents
and theirs "Commercial Album". I thought that there could be some hint, some
tongue in cheecking, but not.)

(anyway, don´t you think that the Residents and Pynchon share a lot of
things? Maybe even Pynchon is one of the Residents... you never know with
these people...)
