Whoever said this is on to a major theme, that DNA spiraling
of Science and Religion. Newton was, by his own account,
his
works, again by his own account, he call them philosophical,
his inspiration is biblical, his God is the Almighty God,
and his Almighty God continues to exercise absolute dominion
over the forces of nature. Newton's god is a creator, not a
spectator.
Remember that Newton was in the air when Slothropian pigs
were given gnostic wings.
