jUst read 'Maldoror' by Lautreamont. Interesting (Stephen Daedelus gets
mildly infatuated with the Marquis de Sade and writes Thus Spake
Zathustra), but I'm not sure whether its good or just rubbish.
You also might like to check out "Kid A", the new Radiohead album. NOt
just an excellent record it even comes
complete with its own Pynchon reference. I'll leave you guys to see if you
can spot it...
And now the queries:
- what's with the playlist?
- can anyone give me any information on the writer William Gaddis?
Oh, and my favourite shit-as-fear moment is probably the toilet scene from
Gravity's Rainbow (the bit with the shoe-shine boy).
goodnight all,
Mark
