Hi all,
Just a note to recommend the "Selected Non-Fictions" of J. L. Borges ed.
Eliot Weinburger, they're beautiful, at least those that I have read so
far, just started reading it yesterday. I particularly dig his assertion
that E. A. Poe "invented the reader of detective stories" (from a 1978
lecture on the detective genre) -- besides lectures there are book and
film reviews, Feuilletons, "Notes on Germany and the War", "Nine
Dantesque Essays", prologues and more!

all realities which are not either brought
forth by the city itself, or incorporated
into it as mere materials.
