Just to split hairs:

None of these sections is actually "narrated" by these characters.  Yes, the
episodes focus on each respective character, and occasionally dip liberally into
the thoughts of these characters, but there is a "typical" (if there CAN be a
typical) Pynchonesque third-person narrator here who occasionally comments on
the action taking place.  The narrator is separate from each episode's
"protagonist."
