You probably practice it a good deal more assiduously than did Victoria
Wren.
It's been said Catholicism is a religion for sinners, not the righteous.
Evelyn Waugh was asked what good his being a Catholic did anyone since he
was such a thoroghgoing unchristian misanthrope. His reply was that he would
be even worse if its were not for the religious faith.
