Clerc's book on M&D just released by University Press of America should be
good intro/primer for those studying the novel and are not so familiar with
TRP's works. Clear of jargon, it's a book to read within a day or so.
Also includes extensive quotes from Mason's journal. Gives overviews of the
novel's reception, snippets of reviews, including our own Ruth S. and Dave
F. (good show guys), general discussion of theme, structure, form, etc.
