Metropolis

Hey all--

In the first five minutes into Lang's Metropolis, am I wrong in thinking 
that the workers underground are slowly led up a set of stairs into a 
furnace or into their alloted work space?

If it is the former, those chills I experienced weren't from the pot-induced 
paranoia.

I do say I found the "evil" Maria alot more sexy.
