 to whom it may concern: the following came yesterday on the luhmann-list. it 
 indicates the publishing of an instructive article on the media theories of 
 niklas luhmann and friedrich kittler. the author is geoffrey winthrop-young, 
 the place "the yale journal of criticism" 13.2 (2000), pp. 391-420. starting  
 point of the article is a review of a book called "kommunikation, medien,
