The original name for this product, which was
developed in 1914, was Dr. Bunting's Sunburn Remedy.
According to company lore, a catchier name was
suggested by an offhand compliment form a customer,
who remarked that the lotion not only was a good
treatment for sunburn but it also, "knocked out my eczema."
