VV (3) - The Party

The party of The Whole Sick Crew (TWSC) is described as an expanding 
universe or a clock-spring undwinding, with Rachel "near" it's center.  
Rachel is described as an object of great mass with her own gravitational 
pull, specifically holding on to smoke as if it were her own atmosphere, and 
it becomes her.

Would she thus be inanimate or the thing which animates?  The implication is 
the later.  She would seem to embody a great force which is possibly unaware 
of its own influence.  The general direction of her force, though would be 
outward, centripetal?  If she were the center of the Big Bang she would be 
our history, viewable through a telescope.  The latest observations and 
theories say we aren't every going to end our expansion and start yo-yoing 
back to the center.

Is that which sets the inanimate in motion animate?  Are WE animate?  He 
that winds the clock may be only unconsciously setting in play the inanimate 
Actor portraying the story of "The Great Unwinding."
