No, you're not. And what bothers me also is people responding to an
incoming post a few lines at a time. Better, as a general rule, to make a
single comprehensive response to the whole post and then say 'over' to let
us know you're finished. Then we can switch to the next message. This
doesn't always work I know but it seems to me the ideal. In other words if 
the incoming for some reason must be preserved, put it at the
bottom--after the 'over'--where no one but the exceedingly curious will
need to look at it.

Just a personal opinion.
