I'm going to put in my 2¢ worth & back a reading of _V_.  It certainly can't 
hurt this list.  If the list is in disarray, maybe the inertia might dispel 
the entropy.  I might add that _V_ is a novel by Thomas Pynchon, not William 
Gaddis.  So perhaps it is an appropriate choice.
