No objection to anything you say above.

But McH and W's reading puts Blicero and SS together, (I'll
check the page if you want). So why can't he be a Nazi? He
is.

Both / AND.

OK, the DIFFERENCE, his gnostic rebellion, his AHABism, his
Romantic with a capital R, Romantic Rebellion,
Miltonic/Satanic, Comic/Tragic & Fantasitc/Parodic
Promethianism through Romantic lenses, the DIFFERENCE is
what makes him, because it is what makes him not simply an
historical evil or only a Nazi, but "THEM."

AND Robert asked, "Who Are THEY?"

There are critics that will argue that THEY have a name. I
disagree.

THEY are US. It is a Condition of Modern Humanity. Otherwise
the book is parody that calls attention to itself.

Robert said, TRP, perhaps deliberate maintains an objective
position. Look in the archives. I argued that 18 months ago.

The problem here is that Blicero is a Nazi and he is Quite
DIFFERENT.

To say that the similarities are not important seems silly
to me. They may need to be tabled so that the DIFFERENCE may
be seen clearly, but they cannot be dismissed so easily.
They are important. The text makes them so.
