Yes, They monitor S's (Our) sexual desire, and they have vixens just waiting 
for us at those crucial junctions.  Remember Greta waiting for Slothrop to 
awaken from his latest "truth-injection?"  They had all those props just 
waiting for her games.

Katje is closest to Eurydice.  She is always the most remote.  But what does 
this say about her slavery to Them?  She and Pirate discover their 
corruption's depth in the Double-Agent's Hell.  Katje embodies "V" in many 
regards, and is grist for the upcomming VV.

[Aside:  The title "VV" graphically recalls Madonna's cone-breasts, ignoring 
the more potent graphic of the single "V."  I believe the doubling reduces 
the singular from primary to an "also-ran."  Remember, the two walls of the 
"V" do not make it singular.  Breasts, however, are plural.  I suggest we 
call this new read "VVV" or simply "vVv," although "VvV" might be more 
suggestive to some...]

This calls into question a central "V" theme: the role of women in...
