Dernau

I just heard in tv that there was in Dernau at the river Ahr (about 40-50 km 
away from Bonn) a hidden production centre of A 4 and V 2, hidden in tunnels 
and under vineyards; the covername for it was "Rebstock" (vine). It was an 
"Aussenlager" of Buchenwald. There was built electrical equipment for the V2. 
After the war, the government of the Federal Republic of Germany built there 
its "Kommandobunker" for the case of an atomic war (Südwestrundfunk, 3.
