NP query

Anybody recall any novels or films in which the Animal Kingdom as a 
whole rises up in rebellion against humans?  Animal Farm came to mind 
immediately, and of course there's a jillion books and movies where 
one or another species turns rogue  (The Birds) or a mutant appears 
(Godzilla) -- but I wonder if there's something, perhaps in the 
science fiction, fantasy, or horror genres.  Thanks in advance for 
any suggestions.
